Motivé par la rébellion profonde d’un espoir qui refuse de capituler, mon travail s’inscrit dans un dialogue avec Beksiński, Giger et Caravage autour de la chair, de l’obscurité et de la représentation de l’humain. J’invoque une tapisserie mentale que j’ancre dans la réalité par une recherche picturale vraisemblable. À travers des figures ni tout à fait humaines ni totalement autres, j’interroge les limites de notre humanité et affirme la chair comme lieu de résistance.

Driven by the deep-seated defiance of a hope that refuses to give in., my work engages in a dialogue with Zdzisław Beksiński, H. R. Giger and Caravaggio around flesh, darkness, and the representation of the human condition. I invoke a mental tapestry that I anchor in reality through a credible pictorial approach. Through figures that are neither entirely human nor wholly other, I question the limits of our humanity and affirm the flesh as a place of resistance.
