Rebirth of the reds Part 3

The series "Rebirth of the reds" finds its origins in the tragic events of 2016, when Dehmazang square of the Kabul became the site of devastating suicide bombings during Afghanistan's largest rally. Organized by the Enlightenment Movement of Afghanistan, the rally aimed to champion social justice and fair resource distribution.
For the artist, the aftermath of the bombings left lasting scars, tinting their perception with the vivid hue of red. Once a symbol of passion and strength, red now evoked feelings of the alarm and danger, reminiscent of the bloodshed in Kabul. The “Rebirth of the red" thus represents a profound shift in the artist's interpretation of color, serving as a visual exploration of trauma and transformation.
Spanning multiple artistic mediums, including paintings, video art, and live performance, "Rebirth of The Reds" comprises over 40 pieces, each offering a unique perspective on the tragedy and its aftermath. Divided into four distinct parts, the series delves into diverse narratives, reflecting the artist's visceral response to the events of 2016.
