elparo
Created by and for space, elparo's works are part of a global process of sculptural experimentation from natural, manufacturedand recycled materials. elparo corresponds to the idea of a common creation, sharing, the discovery of a place and the people who live there. elparo is simply the sum of several independent and unique projects, a discovery of the world while leaving an ephemeral trace.
elparo's story began near Paris, twenty years ago. Here a group of teenagers began to imagine and realize a free festival open to everybody, built entirely from the materials they collected at night from bulky waste.
This was just the starting point, quickly calls from other events multiplied to create these monumental recycled sculptures.
As all artistic actions being destined to evolve, little by little these sculptures have taken place in festivals, artistic trails, public squares, all around the world, with the hope that artistic journey will nerver stop.
