Biographie.
Born in 1959 (F), Christian Havet attended the Académie des Beaux-Arts in the same city from 1965-1976, in Tournai from 1977-1979. 1977 Baccalaureat in Paris. He has exhibited widely after his first solo art-show in 1982. In 1984 after his Architect (dipl.ing.) graduation in Belgium he established his atelier in Lille. From 1999-2001 he was designer for a german science-fiction film and created concepts for a production company. After several stays in Berlin, Amsterdam, and New York, he lives and works near Munich and in Paris. His work has been shown in Europe including solo exhibitions at gallery La Hune in Saint Germain; Bibliothèque centrale in Lille; chapelle St louis de la Salpétrière in Paris; Residenz Allerheiligen-Hofkirche in Munich; and Lufthansa lounges in the Munich airport. Besides participating in numerous international group exhibitions he has realized various permanent projects including wall paintings (Berlin, Amsterdam, Paris) and works in progress as garden architectures, sculptures : "der Heile" and video/sound installation : HealingStars
