Biographie.
Janska's work is an elaborate mixture of different media and techniques - painting, drawing, collage, mural, photography and video.
The development of her style was particularly influenced by the exposure to multicultural Paris, where she moved from Slovakia to further her painting and drawing studies and where she worked as a portraitist.
Life, death, identity and sexuality are recurring themes in the artist's work, which is based on feelings or situations she experienced or observed. Through her art , Janska transforms personal emotions and everyday-life scenes into universal reflections on human action and existence.
